Prizes, Awards and Fellowships

Research Prizes and Awards and Fellowships enhance the track record and reputation of UTS researchers. UTS Researchers are encouraged to apply for national and international prizes and awards.

UTS has vast number of prizes and awards. This searchable list covers national, international opportunities covering all discipline areas.

A select number of prestigious prizes and awards receive centrally administered support to develop and submit UTS nominations. These are:

  • Eureka Awards
  • Young Tall Poppy Science Awards
  • Prime Ministers Prize for Science 
  • NSW Premiers Prize for Science and Engineering
  • Max Crawford medal
  • L'Oreal-Unesco for Women in Science Australia and New Zealand Fellowships
  • Nobel Laureates at Lindau conference
  • Johnson & Johnson Scholars Award Program

Applications for all other prizes and award opportunities can be facilitated by your local faculty, unit and school research support teams and/or individual effort.

UTS researchers are supported in their applications for prizes and awards by RCD Team as well as the UTS Prizes and Awards Advisory Committee. The committee's aim is to foster and support UTS researchers in the awareness of, and application for, high-profile national and international prizes, awards and fellowships.  Feel free to reach out to your UTS Prizes and Awards Advisory Committee representative for advice and guidance.
