This page is to help you figure out who has which expertise to assist and explain AI Tools and associated research considerations.
The eResearch team is working to coordinate regular updates and catch ups with representatives from all the research communities listed below, which includes updates and information provided by the Library, the Data Analytics Insights Unit, the CoPilot Trial team, the Graduate Research School and the Research Office.
If you're interested in finding peers or learning more about AI in your research field, explore the communities listed below. If you know of a community not listed, please inform eResearch.
Interested in any other non-AI services, platforms, tools, and training opportunities provided by eResearch? You can try this UTS eResearch AI Assistant. Whether you have questions about high-performance computing, data storage, research software, or training opportunities, this bot is here to help 24/7.

Support Teams for use of AI in Research at UTS
Want to attend training on the use of digital tools and AI tools in research?
Contact eResearch, or check out the Microsoft CoPilot Teams page. You can also find recordings on the use of AI in qualitative research via ASPIRE.
Do you have questions about publishing, literature reviews, systematic reviews, copyright, or accessing publications?
Reach out to the Library, the Library also has resources on AI publishers and even has their own AI bot to help find articles.
Do you have an ethics or research integrity question that you're not sure about?
Talk to a Research Integrity Advisor or check the Research Ethics and Research Integrity Sharepoint.
Want to know more about AI for HDR students?
Please note that if your HDR student has a co-supervisor whose university has different rules around the use of AI, UTS students still need to follow UTS policy and guidelines.
Talk to the GRS Team, or check out the FEIT HDR workshop
Do you have concerns about any breaches of internal, sensitive or confidential research data?
Check the Data Breach Policy, talk to a Research Integrity Advisor or email data.breach@uts.edu.au
