Event description:
Assoc Prof Sune Gudiksen from the LAB for Play, Kolding University, Denmark, explores play methodology as a tool for interdisciplinary design, innovation, problem-solving, and interaction. Drawing on the LAB for Play and case studies from his Playful Attractions and Tangible Traces projects, Sune will demonstrate how playful approaches can generate new forms of participation, conversation and creative engagement in museums, galleries and experience spaces.
The presentation will be followed by a ‘Life Play Journey’ workshop, where participants will explore how characteristics of play can inspire design thinking, interactive experiences, exhibitions, supporting activities and learning programmes across diverse disciplines and contexts.
Sune’s visit has been facilitated by the Play Design Research Group in the Faculty of Design and Society, University of Technology Sydney.
