Are you a researcher, HDR student, or academic at UTS curious about how technology can supercharge your research? Whether you're exploring data management, AI tools, HPC platforms, or just need expert advice, UTS eResearch Drop-In Sessions are here to support you.
Join the eResearch Drop-In Sessions

Each session features a short 10–15 minute researcher presentation, followed by open discussion and Q&A. Whether you're working with data, code, or digital research tools, there's something for everyone.
What are the Drop-In Sessions about?
These informal sessions are designed to connect you with the eResearch team and fellow researchers.
Whether you're new to digital research tools or a seasoned user, you'll find value in:
- One-on-one consultations with eResearch specialists
- Live demos of tools like Stash, Omero, and HPC platforms
- Guidance on data storage, AI bots, and research computing strategies
- Help with ServiceConnect tickets, RDMP forms, and more
- Sneak peeks into upcoming training sessions and resources
- Networking with fellow researchers and technologists
Why should you attend?
The eResearch team has been busy behind the scenes — refining RDMP forms, launching AI bots, upgrading HPC nodes, and supporting hundreds of users. This session is your chance to tap into that expertise and get tailored support for your research needs.
“Do you have research data you want to safely store, or do you need a website, or need to conduct a survey? We can provide advice and solutions to these questions and many more — come to Drop-In and have a chat," Specialist Research Technology Manager from the UTS eResearch team, Anselm Motha said.
Whether you're unsure how to get started or looking for deeper integration of digital tools in your work, the eResearch team are here to help.
