Build your competitive edge for international research funding by participating in the UTS Horizon Europe Ready Programme.
Join the UTS Horizon Europe Ready Programme
The European Union (EU) and Australia have concluded negotiations for Australia to join Horizon Europe, the EU’s flagship €93.5 billion research and innovation funding programme. This agreement enables Australian organisations to access EU research funding and collaborate more closely on global innovation challenges from 2027.
The UTS Horizon Europe Ready Programme is a structured capacity-building initiative designed to support UTS researchers and professional staff to understand, access and engage with Horizon Europe.
With Australia's association to Horizon Europe from 2027, these online sessions are designed to build our researchers' competitive edge for Horizon Europe.
Through six progressive sessions, participants will develop a practical understanding of Horizon Europe structures and funding instruments, consortium building and partnership strategy, proposal development. You’ll also learn about evaluator expectations and how to position UTS within the European research ecosystem.
