UTS Research Café

UTS Research Café is an open invitation fortnightly event held at RES Hub.  Hosted by PVC (Research) Prof Chris Turney, it is an opportunity to begin conversations - whether it be exchanging ideas, discussing potential research collaborations, finding out about the range of current and future research initiative, getting updates from colleagues on new ways of working or celebrating hard fought achievements.

Who should attend?

UTS Research Café is for all UTS staff, academics, researchers and HDR students who are passionate about, engage in, coordinate, manage, support and/or conduct research. To be added to the reoccurring Outlook Calendar invite for 2024, let us know.

Presenting at UTS Research Cafe

Whist being a chance to connect to researchers and professionals alike, UTS Research Cafe also offers the opportunity for UTS Faculties/Units/Teams to share related developments across research opportunities, practice, projects, support, and management.

These presentations have included topics across research project showcases, research systems and technology updates, university wide research events, launches of new research funding schemes and raising awareness around new and existing aspects of the UTS research infrastructure. Keep in mind these presentations are casual, less than 5 minutes and are usually accompanied by a single slide.
