Research Funding
UTS researchers can access funding through internal and external grants, including national and international programs, internal schemes and prizes and awards.
Notify your faculty research team and the Research Office of your intention to apply for funding and submit your proposal through Research Master well in advance of the closing date.
How to apply for funding
Found a relevant funding opportunity? Follow these steps:
- Read the grant guidelines to check your eligibility.
- Discuss your intention to apply for funding and seek agreement from your faculty research team as early as possible.
- Notify the Research Office well ahead of the external deadline to ensure this is the best opportunity for you.
- Draft and submit your proposal through Research Master well in advance of the closing date for review and approval.
- Once approved by the Research Office, your proposal can be submitted to the funder.
