UTS has partnered with LinkedIn Learning to provide access to free, self paced online learning for staff and students. 

LinkedIn Learning is specifically designed to help achieve professional and personal goals regardless of your role, industry or sector with a library of over 16,000 expertly-produced online and consistently updated courses across 7 languages. UTS Staff and Students are empowered to develop the right skills by unlimited access to learning, anywhere and anytime.

Navigating LinkedIn Learning 

There are a few ways your can explore all the options available to you. LinkedIn Learning is organised into learning on Business, Creative, Technology topics, formal certifications and UTS collections. You can view courses through: 

  • Role Guides: Information organised by role e.g., Product Manager or Data Scientist. You'll find foundational content and tools to help you understand, learn, and improve at the skills based on roles. Courses, skills and learning paths related to this role will be visible. 
  • Topics: This is information organised by topic e.g., Data Visualisation, Instructional Design, CRM Software or Accessibility. It usually includes a list of all the related courses to topic of choice allowing you to see them all at once. 
  • Software: Courses on commonly used programs, software and systems associated with the topic. 
  • Learning Paths:  These are curated collections of courses on a specific topic/track/skill. They include multiple courses by different expert instructors to teach a variety of skills and information associated with that subject or profession. After completing a Learning Path, you’ll be able to download and share your accomplishment on your LinkedIn Profile.
