Are you ready to take your research career to the next level? Unlock your research potential by joining an exciting series of workshops entitled: Developing Your 5-Year Plan.
Create a 5-year research plan

Led by Professor Andrew Barron, Director of the Macquarie Mind Initiative at Macquarie University, this interactive series is designed to equip you with the strategies and tools needed to establish and achieve your ideal research goals. Andrew brings a passion for supporting researchers in developing their plans, after working through a similar process himself. In his previous sessions he has credited this process for his success after getting stuck: "What made the difference was getting serious about doing some planning of my research."
Having previously presented his 5-year planning series in 2021, Andrew is returning to UTS with an updated set of offerings that he will deliver in three parts:
- Part 1 (14 April): Learn strategies and tools for building a research plan leading you to your goals
- Part 2 (5 May): Listen and engage in a panel session as we discuss the benefits and challenges of research planning
- Part 3 (11 November): An opportunity to reflect together on the experience of research planning six months on from Part 1.
Come along to be inspired and develop your own blueprint for research success!
