Are you interested in learning more about research translation? Have you submitted an IP disclosure, applied for Australia's Economic Accelerator, or participated in the Research Translation Competition?
If so, don't miss the Research Translation Café at the RES Hub Event Space. It's a fantastic opportunity to hear from and talk to experts about many aspects of research translation.
You’ll hear from and have a chance to engage with experts from industry and investment. Learn what it takes to create a successful business opportunity from knowledge created in universities and the range of programs and opportunities that exists to help you take your research to market.
Speakers
- Stefan Mazy, CEO and Founder of DermR Health, will be sharing his inspiring commercialisation journey.
- Dr Laura Droessler, Investment Manager, Uniseed, will discuss how Venture Capital firms can assist researchers to commercialise their research.
- Selena Boyfield, Ecosystem Manager, CSIRO, will discuss the CSIRO training programs, such as the CSIRO On Prime program, available for researchers interested in commercialisation and research translation.
- Peter Millic, Australia's Economic Accelerator Priority Manager, will discuss federal government grant funds for early-stage commercialisation projects.
