LinkedIn Learning 

UTS has partnered with LinkedIn Learning to provide access for all UTS staff and students to their library of 16,000 free online courses.  LinkedIn Learning with Lynda is specifically designed to help you achieve your professional goals through learning you can access anywhere and anytime. The course catalogue is regularly updated with in demand skills you can access immediately.  

RES Hub

RES Hub is home to self-paced online courses that can equip early and mid-career researchers with the confidence, skills and strategies needed to overcome challenges and become successful leaders in research. There is a number of University wide opportunities that you can explore, access and book via RES Hub's Events. Register for an upcoming drop in session or look for networking opportunities. 

UTS Open

UTS Open is the UTS offering of short courses, microcredentials and free online learning. Their courses are designed to expand knowledge and expertise at a university-level and are created in collaboration with industry to ensure the skills, tools and techniques can meet tomorrow's challenges. 

UTS Library 

UTS Library provides a regular calendar of workshops and training provided on campus and online, available to both professional and academic staff.

L.X lab

The LX.lab is a diverse, flexible and multi-skilled team, offering a comprehensive package of learning and teaching support for UTS Staff, with a specialisation in blended learning and technologies for learning.  As part of UTS Institute for Interactive Media and Learning, the LX.lab works with the faculties to support and build capability across all UTS teaching staff to enhance the learner experience.

UTS Centre for Social Justice and Inclusion

CSJI at UTS offers a wide range of diversity and inclusion training programs for UTS staff to bring about a more inclusive culture. The range of training courses and options cover mental health wellbeing and first aid, Consent Matters, Indigenous cultural awareness, LGBTIQA+ inclusion, unconscious bias, cultural diversity awareness and ability awareness.

UTS Centre for Business and Social Innovation

The Centre for Business & Social Innovation (CBSI) is a UTS centre conducting world-class cross-faculty and cross-discipline research that directly informs their workshop and courses. These are conducted by leading academics in conjunction with professional experts. To learn more, get in touch.

UTS Professional Mentoring Platform

The Professional Mentoring Platform (PMP), run by UTS Careers provides a space for UTS students, alumni and industry professionals to come together to connect, find a community and to find a mentor or mentoring opportunity. Learn more.

UTS Aspire 

UTS Aspire delivers a menu of events and activities that caters to the breadth of the UTS community with the aims of cultivating a collaborative and supportive academic community within UTS, and across all academic levels and boosting the calibre of research at UTS by up-skilling staff. 

UTS Graduate Research Development and Support 

The UTS Graduate Research School offer courses and workshops to help build fundamental research skills, including an understanding of research principles, methodologies, communication, and career pathways, at every stage of PhD candidature.

UTS eResearch x Intersect

UTS eResearch has partnered with Intersect to offer a wide range of specialised courses for researchers, from beginner through to advanced levels in High-Performance Computing (HPC), Programming with R/Python/Matlab, Excel, data management, data cleaning and visualisation, databases and SQL, and more. Delivered by Intersect's team of experts, the training courses provide practical and research-relevant hands-on exercises.

Campus+

Campus+ offers on-demand Industry engagement; strategic partnership creation; researcher commercialisation training and mentoring; technology transfer; entrepreneurship training; unique IP identification, protection, development and commercialisation. 

Australian Research Management Society (ARMS)

The Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) is the Australasian association of research management professionals. Since its founding in 1999, the ARMS network has grown to involve more than 3500 members from universities, independent research institutions, government and health and research organisations from across the Australasian region including Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. ARMS is committed to supporting the development of excellent research management professionals and offers a diverse and broadly accessible range of professional development, education and training opportunities mapped out in their Professional Development Framework. 

Institute for Statistical and Data Science (Instats)

Instats are committed to helping researchers tackle data analytic challenges effectively and efficiently. They provide world class training in statistical and data science methods for researchers in academia, business, non-profits, and government.
