It also enables you to gain deeper insights and access to real-time national and global funding opportunities.
Introducing Pivot-RP
With Pivot-RP you can:
- create a researcher profile to receive alerts to funding opportunities that match your research interests
- track schemes for submission dates and opt in to receive scheme specific updates, with tracked projects appearing in a calendar that can be exported to Outlook
- access up-to-date global funding opportunities and analysis from a range of funding bodies, including internal UTS schemes, public funding institutions, industry and not-for-profit opportunities
- find useful resources and tools to help diversify your funding sources and connect with collaborators.

Why engage with Pivot-RP?
With thousands of funding opportunities available each month, Pivot-RP enables you to opt in to receive emails about the most relevant opportunities. By creating and maintaining a Pivot-RP account, you will be notified about funding opportunities that are aligned with your discipline areas, research interests and career stage. This includes local and international opportunities as well as those from public funding institutions and not-for-profit organisations. You’ll also find out about internal UTS schemes.
Optimise your profile settings
To get the most value from Pivot-RP, it’s important to ensure that your profile settings are up to date. When you log into Pivot-RP for the first time, make sure any saved searches or alerts you have set up in Research Professional are available to access the full suite of Pivot-RP benefits including:
- email alerts for new opportunities within your search parameters and research field
- intuitive and user-friendly search functions, including the ability to track opportunities for alerts when information is added or changed such as deadline extensions
- pathways for greater collaboration via networks.
