26 March presenters
- Kumar Jain: Kumar is the Engagement Manager at UTS Global Strategic Partnerships and will share details about the Key Technology Partner funding programs and the current round.
- Prof Thalia Anthony: Thalia studies the impacts of mass incarceration of Indigenous people. Her research examines the role of criminal laws and procedures in enforcing systemic racism. She has discovered new ways to change the narrative in criminal sentencing through Aboriginal Community Justice Reports, and her participatory action research in Victorian courts has reduced incarceration for Indigenous defendants.
- Kumar Biswajit Debnath: Kumar is transforming the future of construction through interdisciplinary approaches by pioneering sustainable building materials as a Chancellor's Research Fellow at the UTS School of Architecture. By upcycling organic waste and utilising innovative mycelium-based composites, he is creating climate-resilient, biomimetic building skins that address the challenges of a warming world.
