External Partnerships

UTS supports the creation of a high-performing, talent-based research culture so that our people—academics and professional staff at UTS—are confident in building effective and sustainable partnerships with industry, donors, policy makers and end user communities to create scale, shared vision and mutually beneficial research outcomes.

Knowledge of:

• The research needs of external partners.
• The importance of engagement with external partners and their role in increasing the quality and impact of research.
• IP and commercialisation processes.
• Appropriate and ethical use and sharing of research data with or from partners.
• UTS research infrastructure and facilities.
• UTS resources and support to identify external partners - including philanthropic sources - and to build external relationships.
• The importance of building research relationships/connections/partnerships with industry, donors, policy makers, philanthropic agencies and end-user communities.
